Automatic Watch – I am looking for a decent mechanical watch?

I understand that there are plenty of expensive 0+ ,000 watches that are made of gold or platinum or hand made in the Swiss Alps or where used on Italian subs....but what I am looking or is a simple automatic (mechanical) watch with a metal band that costs less the 0 that isn't a used Seiko 5...any ideas

any information on a swiss made tijjot automatic watch?

i buy watches all the time when i find them cheap and thats all it says on it. its antique and still works fine. the back is turn skrew but will not come off. i even took it in to the shop where they have special tools and they cant get it open either.

i collect watches but dont know to much about them

What is an automatic watch?

Hello,

I just bought an automatic analog watch. I thought all watches had a quartz battery. But this watch is supposed to be "wound". There is no battery. The instructions continue to say that when fully wound, the watch has full power for 38 hours. So what happens after 38 hours? Do I have to rewind it again? Can someone explain to me how this works? I dont want to have to wind my watch every 38 hours. Should I take the watch back?
